Job Details:

• Fixed Term Contract Min 2 months
• Highly regarded public hospital
• Work on the south-west coast of Victoria
• Work within a diverse and friendly team
• Work in a fully accredited facility with 69 beds

  
As the Emergency Department Registered Nurse you will be required to:  

• Deliver evidence based nursing care
• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
• Ensure patient and staff safety
• Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
• Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs

The organisation is situated on the coastal area of south-west Victoria. The location has a combination of coastal, rural and low density urban areas making it a wonderful place to live, work and raise a family. Live by the sea, in town or on a farm – the choice is yours. With clifftop views overlooking the bay, just imagine living there!

To be eligible for this position you must:
  

• Be currently registered with AHPRA with no restrictions
• Minimum 12 months Emergency Department experience required
• Must have triage experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Working with children check
• Proficient computer skills
• Post graduate qualification desired
